Professional Year Programme

The Professional Year Programme is a structured professional development program designed for international students who have graduated from an Australian university. The program is designed to provide these students with the skills, training and practical experience they need to improve their employability and obtain professional work experience in Australia.

  1. You must have completed a degree in accounting, information technology, or engineering from an Australian university.
  2. You must hold or have applied for a Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485), with a minimum validity period of 12 months remaining.
  3. You must meet the English language proficiency requirement, which is typically an overall score of at least 6.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), with a minimum score of 5.0 in each of the four components (listening, reading, writing, and speaking).
  4. You must meet any additional eligibility requirements specified by the relevant professional association that governs their field of study.

Course Details

The program combines formal classroom training with a 12-week internship placement in an Australian company, giving students the opportunity to gain practical experience in their field of study and develop their professional networks to enhance their professional skills.
