Australian Visitor Visa

An Australian Visitor Visa allows individuals from eligible countries to enter Australia for a short-term stay for tourism, visiting friends and family, or business-related activities. The visa is valid for up to 12 months and allows multiple entries into the country.

The types of Australian Visitor visas:

Tourist Visa (subclass 600): for individuals traveling to Australia for leisure or business purposes.
Business Visitor Visa (subclass 600): for individuals traveling to Australia for business meetings, negotiations, or attending conferences.
Sponsored Family Visitor Visa (subclass 600): for individuals visiting family members in Australia who are sponsoring their visit.
eVisitor Visa (subclass 651): for citizens of eligible countries traveling to Australia for short-term stays for tourism or business purposes.
Medical Treatment Visa (subclass 602): for individuals traveling to Australia for medical treatment or consultations.

Common Eligibility Criteria for Visitor Visa

Passport

valid passport from an eligible country.

Financial capacity

Evidence of sufficient funds to support the visit and any return or onward travel.

Purpose of visit

Clear and justified reasons for the visit, such as tourism, visiting friends or family, or business.

Accommodation

A plan for accommodation during the stay in Australia.

Health Insurance

Evidence of adequate health insurance coverage.

Character

Character: No prior criminal convictions or other issues that may impact the individual's suitability for a visa.

Return or onward travel

Evidence of a return ticket or onward travel arrangements.
