- Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) visa (subclass 888)
This is a permanent visa for individuals who have held a Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa and have met the criteria for business and investment activity in Australia.
The Common Eligibility Criteria for Business Visas
Age
Be under the age of 55(innovation, investor and entrepreneur streams)
English language
Have English proficiency level “Functional” (all streams except entrepreneur stream)
English language
Have English proficiency level “Competent” (only entrepreneur stream)
Nomination
Be Nominated by Australian Territory government agency, or State or Austrade
No debts
No debt to Australian Government
Heath and Character
Meet health and character requirements stipulated by DHA
Points test score
Score a minimum of 65 points. Points depend on age, English language proficiency, education, business size and growth and your experience with business. Points test applies to innovation and investor streams.
